Alcohols are a whole chemical class of things. Better define which one.

This takes some fermenting of deep thought. It is one that I can barley get my mind around. But if I work at it, I might get a stout opinion about it that I wouldn’t be bitter about. I just don’t want people to get hopping mad at my opinion yeast I lose some friends.

I read a trivia fact: one of the largest producers of alcohol in the world is Kazakhstan. However, as a primarily Islamic country, they are one of the world’s smallest consumers of alcohol.

Fortunately for them, their next door neighbor, Russia, is the world’s largest consumer of alcohol in the world (primarily vodka).

I do not know if the countries are planning to build a pipeline between them.

I wonder where we would be if we never invented wine and then all the rest?

Very true and though provoking definition. Just think how many lives would have been saved had it not been for alcohol.

It’s very versatile and can be dressed up to taste pretty good…..

my father was in military in korean war, and told me some people would drain alcohol anti-freeze out of vehicles to drink. but the alcohol was wood alcohol and would make you go blind. the alcohol most drink is grain alcohol or in case of wines made from fruit

Also pretty deadly in Turkey, too.

Beer is the only thing that saved humanity from the many afflictions of drinking contaminated water.

But…but…it makes you think you can dance.

I wish I knew which one of my kids’ teachers told them that alcohol is poisonous and covered the different body systems it affects. I would happily send them a thank you card. Neither of them is ever likely to drink.

It may eventually kill the human who over imbibes… Not to mention the damage done to the children of the person.

The 1st fatality is inhibitions.

It is by far the deadliest drug humans have ever used.

What I can’t understand is why humans make it legal but make less deadly ones illegal.
