I am told, by my grand-niece,mother of my 2 1/2 year old great grand-nephew, that today’s crayons are all washable.

I honestly don’t get this one even after reading the comments.

The Greeks and Romans drew on walls and so did Renaissance artists. If I’d had kids I’d have designated a specific wall for them to decorate. Maybe even one in the living room. There’s worse art (and costly too) in the museums.

My child never drew on the walls. She also never rummaged through the kitchen cabinets, or filled all the keyholes with Play Doh, or threw food on the floor, or whined, or had tantrums, etc. I worried about this. Was I doing something wrong? Was she somehow not normal in some way? But she turned out fine anyway. ::whew!::
