Carmen Hope was trashed to the wayside in 2016, it barely survives, if the house goes to the rethuglicKlans in 2022 then hope is gone forever!

“The White House just announced, due to Covid concerns, instead of the traditional holiday parties, he’s inviting guests to come see the decorations on a 30-minute self-guided tour, which is just a fancy way of Biden saying, ‘Come if you want, but I ain’t gonna be there!’ … That’s right, a self-guided tour of a historic Washington building. That’s basically how Fox News described Jan. 6.” — Jimmy Fallon

Obviously, the pandemic has left you a bit philosophical Scott. Well, hope will press on. Humans are made that way. Generally we undergo terrible times and happenings, but we get over them. I’m not making light of the effort or being Pollyannish; awful stuff also demands we take care of each other. But we do go on. We will survive the pandemic, climate change and other self inflicted ills…..IF we can decide to.

Maybe the original Carmen and Winslow are down there, and they’ll come back out and reclaim their comic.

    False hope.

Here today in Kentucky hope is alive and well along side with patience, compassion, love , faith, optimism and caring. Also hard work and endurance.

    Capt. Kirk :

“Let me help.” A hundred years or so from now, I believe, a famous novelist will write a classic using that theme. He’ll recommend those three words even over “I love you.”

Odd that a conservative cartoonist would promote part of an Obama slogan…
