The Premature Burial

Depends on whose hopes have been resurrected.

Hope for a happy, healthy, prosperous, trusting, altruistic nation/world — where everyone wins — or hope for a deeply-divided, self-centered, “greed is good” nation/world with big winners and big losers?

Looks like someone dug up the dead Hope so they could beat it some more. But who: Trump, McConnell, Cruz, Paul, DeSantis, Meadows, Stone……………..

Zombie hope: Hope when all is lost but unrelenting optimism makes one think the day can be saved.

Hope may be lost or even forgotten at times, but Hope never dies.

Hope is dead. We officially live in a socialist country starting on 1/10/2022

Sometimes hope is what we need to cling to. My hope is that 2022 brings more good things than bad and that we can turn around the rise in cases sooner rather than later. In the meantime, I will continue to follow whatever guidelines are given to protect myself. We can’t bring back the 800,000+ Americans we lost to this damn virus, but we can honor them by not giving in to despair. The end to this is coming, just not as quickly as we’d like.

Considering how widely everything in this strip is mislabeled, it could have been anything in there, with the possible exception of Logic.

All hope is lost on 1/10/22 when America ceases and this country turns into a Tyrannical country ran by a demented old man.
