Childhood ears have definitely botched many song lyrics

5? I wondered how old Nelson was supposed to be. I thought he was closer to 7 or 8. He’s been shown doing homework and having little friends, a 5yr old is barely in kindergarten. I never had homework in kindergarten, in fact I don’t think it started until maybe 3rd grade or so but that was over 30yrs ago so perhaps it’s different now

For some reason I read that to the tune of baby shark.

When my son was young he sang " Police mommy duck".

I generally don’t like Christmas music but this is one song I really like.

Funnily enough that song was playing on the radio when I read this. I can see his point of view, or hearing :)

Much to the chagrin of my actual dog to whom I sing this repeatedly and with delight every year.

Nooo. He’s only gotten to “A” in Morse code.

My Brother-in-law’s Mommy is Dot…(Dorthy).

My dad used to sing “Fleas Nattie’s got!” So I changed it to “Fleas Daddy’s got!”

I didn’t know Nelson is just supposed to be 5 yrs old. He seems older.

What ever- – can not stand that song. When I was working retail the store played it all day long- – nor a lie either.

Growing up in Southern California, Feliz Navidad was as much part of the season as the decorated palm trees. My wife (from Idaho) just doesn’t understand this.

Felix Navidad? That’s Santa Claus’s cousin from Mexico.
