Rat only thinks that because the Pandemic doesn’t want anything to do with him.

The Omicron Variant seems to be crowding out the Delta Variant. And according to WHO, Omicron has killed no one so far. So Alec Baldwin has killed more people than Omicron.

For those not getting vaccinated because “there are no long-term studies”, you might want to think about the fact that there are also no long-term studies about having been infected.

Rat is correct this stage of the Pandemic is over. We are now in a new stage. Learning to live with it and moving on. Did you get your shots yet ? That seems to be the first step of this new part of the story .

I had a discussion with someone here on GoComics a few weeks ago that said pretty much the same thing. He said the pandemic was over in his area, but apparently didn’t understand that a pandemic is by definition global, so it can’t be over in one area while it’s still increasing in most of the world.

We are experiencing two ‘pandemics’. One caused by a virus, the other by governmental response to the first. The former WILL eventually end, the latter will not end until we all feel like Rat.

In his first speech after his hospitalization for Covid-19, President Donald Trump stood on a White House balcony on October 10, 2020 and made a grand declaration about the coronavirus: “It’s going to disappear. It is disappearing.”

His words might have sounded more dramatic had he not been saying the same thing for eight months.

According to a South African doctor, here are the symptoms, “It presents mild disease with symptoms being sore muscles and tiredness for a day or two not feeling well,” Coetzee explained. “So far, we have detected that those infected do not suffer the loss of taste or smell. They might have a slight cough. There are no prominent symptoms. Of those infected some are currently being treated at home.”

Some news report or the other said that we will never have another lockdown because the lockdown was because the government didn’t have a clue how to handle a pandemic. Now they do, ( a brief pause for hysterical laughter), so no more lockdowns. Plus, businesses will refuse to close.

Unfortunately, this is what a lot of people think just before they catch Covid. We are all tired of it, but probably not as bad as living through WW II or I. Each generation has it’s cross to bear.

Its been over according to a majority number of humans. They’re the ones who are taking up hospitals beds cause most of them chose not to get vaccinated. More people died from Covid last year than they did in 2020 while there are vaccines available. How does that even happen?? A Darwin for every anti-vaxxer doofus!

Covid is just as bad as it’s ever been, but yet the politicians are easing up on the restrictions. Not because it’s safer, but because they want to look good.
