It was bad enough when Christmas came early.

I wonder how Marigold would react if she watched the Rudolph special and saw how badly it’s aged. “No! This is man’s work.”

Pull the plug, Marigold; xmas is over. Let the pointless slog from one day to the next until another vacation happens BEGIN!!!

A Kardashian Unicorn Christmas?

We just had Russian Orthodox Christmas, why not?!

“Christmas was weeks ago,” says Phoebe. It was only two weeks ago!

There are, of course, twelve days of Christmas so the festival has only just ended. Twelfth Night used to be a day of feasting and carousing that was almost as pleasurable as the First Day of Christmas. In those times, the Christmas celebrations ended with a bang rather than a whimper.

Actually, I find Marigold cutest than ever ♡.

But with the fake nose, nobody can see her heavenly nostrils!

I still have my tree up, but I justify it because I’m away from home for work for 2 weeks at a time, so I’ve only had half the time to enjoy it as everyone else. Not because I’m too lazy to take it down.

Wow.

We start taking the tree down on the Friday night before MLK Day and set it out for pick up the night before pick up is scheduled. The interior and exterior decorations and lights are slowly taken down and packed away by February 11. And then she goes crazy decorating for Valentine’s Day.

If we say that we want that Christmas feeling to last all year long. Let’s practice what we preach and stretch that season out….
