Mike should have fixed that crack with a pumpkin patch.

At least /voy-tek/ didn’t take the Polish soldiers’ pick-a-nick baskets of rations, right?

Running a race with a carriage is common and running at 9.32 mph is not that impressive.

In 1989, Dick Hoyt pushed and pulled his son (with cerebral palsy) through an entire Ironman race. That’s impressive.

It would be funny if the baby spent most of the race bawling his lungs out.

If Heather Hann could maintain the same pace for a full marathon, it would translate into under 3 hours, which is a respectable time for amateur athletes not pushing baby carriages. I’m impressed she could push that stroller for over 6 miles at that speed just 1 year postpartum. But it’s pretty believable.

The bear later went on to Russian mascot fame.

Take care, may snot-nosed pram rider Sean “Hey, I Crossed The Finish Line Before Her And Got No Credit” Hannord be with you, and gesundheit.

Due to the time to verify and lead time to publish, I think Ripley is a fan of the Bob and Tom radio show who reported pumpkin and stroller story a few weeks ago.

Wojtek wasn’t ‘enlisted’, he was bought and raised by Polish troops as a cub and was officially made a corporal later during WWII…it’s a great story and worth reading and he lived until 1963 in zoo in Scotland, and the soldiers who raised him continued to visit him

In the summer of 2019, Cynthia Arnold finished a marathon in 3:11:54 while pushing her three kids. The estimated combined weight of kids and stroller was 185 pounds. She shattered the previous Guinness Book of World Records for running a marathon while pushing 3 people in a stroller.

Was the one year old first in the baby division?

For many, running close to a six-minute mile is impressive and to do it for six miles while pushing a stroller is even better.

Why? Were babysitters on strike that day?

    I don’t know – is 40 minutes a good time for a 10K race?

However, all was not lost with the 1.25 ton pumpkin. Libby paid the same price as the contest award and made it it into over 2000 cans of pumpkin.

Just a coincidence but I was also disqualified from a beautiful baby contest in 1953 for having a small crack in my exterior.
