Well, yes. Die now and you are guaranteed not to have a future.

    That isn’t necessarily true.

A person can live a virtuous life, and his future could be disastrous.

There definitely is a way to put off the future. It’s called procrastination. :P

The future is not what it used to be, so just go living in the past!

It’s best to get the future behind you, so you don’t have to deal with it anymore!

Magnificent illustration each panel especially the 5th panel. “Related future” sitting on a Cholla cactus can cause a related future of considerable pain & should be avoided!

Well.. in the last 1500 odd years it probably has been worse at times. And, now.. is not a particularly good time to pause the future, lets get rid of COVID first, then trump and his ilk.. then climate change. Sheesh, there is no good time is there?

That is good teaching. Every choice we make today has an impact on our future.

Our life is shaped by our mind; we become what we think. Suffering follows an evil thought as the wheels of a cart follow the oxen that draw it.

Our life is shaped by our mind; we become what we think. Joy follows a pure thought like a shadow that never leaves.

It’s good to remind her anyways, that the future is unknown, memories in the past, and live for today!

Love the constantly changing landscape of the Enchanted Forest, as Gaylord and Broom-Hilda wax philosophical, and in the end Broomie punches it!

Broomie has more past than most folks can imagine. I suspect she’s already established the rut she’s riding into the sunset.
