My daughter corrected me fast that it is called CLIMATE CHANGE not global warming. So glad she is up on the latest news-speak that has much more flexibility.Too cold, too hot – Climate change! No more arguing! Hah!
Yep, the only thing that worked on the wife’s cold feet were the calf muscles of the my legs—-just AFTER I had dropped off to sleep—-putting me back to ‘square one’ ! ! ! !
My problem is cold hands not cold feet. The contemporaries of one of my uncles had a standing joke about him. When the cows saw him coming with a stool and bucket on winter days, one would say to another, “Here comes old icy hands again.”
The Florida Medicos have me diagnosed with Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and have installed stents thither and yon and I was doing FAR better in life before I got down here, the land of “the lower half grads of medical schools..” and their inept ‘scanning technicians’ who completely missed the single blockage that would have cured the problem from the beginning, but I’m not bitter about it.. Vengeful, but not bitter… I don’t want MILLIONS as promised by TV Lawyers, just to have three doctors tell one sumbitch that he screwed up, which just ain’t gonna happen here !

No kidding. Hard to have warm feet when wearing socks and you’re under your bedspread.

I don’t understand how I can have a hot flash that makes my head feel like it’s on fire, but my feet are still ice cubes.

Leg-warmers really help and unlike long underwear, you can push them down if you get too hot.

Give her a few minutes and she’ll have a hot flash and all will be warm for a few minutes. My wife has them and the cover from head to toe.
