Jack and Chesney have a nice warm home behind bars so that’s 7 cats who need homes.

This is the strangest story arc ever. Every day brings bad news. It has to get better!

The picture I posted yesterday of my “redecorated” tree (after a certain feline climbed it a few times) didn’t show all the damage. I didn’t notice until later that the star is no longer in place. I guess she climbed all the way to the top and knocked the star over. I haven’t taken a picture of that yet. The star is still on the tree – just bent over so you can’t see it. But I can laugh at the damage she has done. I understand it. She’s just a kid and it’s her very first Christmas tree. The other cats aren’t as intrigued by it as Molly is and they pretty much leave it alone. Maybe in another few years, Molly will stop climbing my Christmas trees. But who knows? By then, I could have another kitten (or 2 or 3 kittens). Not planning n doing that, but I never planned on getting Molly either.

You have to go read Pickles today. They have the same problem with their tree that I have with mine.

I keep hoping that this story arc turns around.

I do too. Christmas is coming, so maybe a Christmas miracle??

This story arc is not good for people battling depression.

I’m getting cranky.

Geeze, this story arc is turning out to be a real downer. (And during the holiday season, no less.) Still hoping that things take a turn for the better. On another note, saw a chickadee, two wrens, two varied thrushes, a golden crowned kinglet, and a sparrow while out walking today.

It’s a sad story at Christmas. Maybe Valentine’s Day could make it better, or not.

This story line makes me sad, even though it’s a comic strip

Please tell me Lily is coming back and this is just some kind of plot twist.
