Typical political behavior. Get caught violating your own rules, deny it, let the more favorable press help downplay it, then wait for it to be memory-holed.

I’ve lost count of how many pols in the US have been bagged flaunting the very rules they impose on us peons. Maybe the plan is to do it often enough to make it a non-story? Nah, they’re not that smart.

I guess leading by example is only for suckers and losers, which I believe is what TFG who dodged the draft called the armed forces.

Surely “Spitting Image” will have some fun with this party.
