Is this some sort of British dog treat? I know of at least one dog that would have died of chocolate poisoning if it weren’t for a very expensive veterinarian’s bill.

And the usual comment for Americans: Choc-drops do not contain chocolate.

I felt the same way yesterday – the weather was Yuck with continuing ick – cloudy, cold, and damp; I was happy to stay home (now that I’ve finally retired!!!)!

Never heard of choc drops. And I thought (of course) that they’d contain chocolate! LOL!

Choc-drops is not good for any dogs, they can fell sick after eating them.

Instead of pop in corner shop, He’ll just pop in a pet shop and buy him dog friendly choc drops.

See assrdood above. Choc-drops are the Bassett strip equivalent of a dog whistle. We know that you will respond. Doggy chocs contain no chocolate and are widely sold in the UK. No dead dogs due to choc-drops. The same is still not true of the USA,

I’m not sure why a couple of comments think that safe chocolate treats aren’t available in the U.S. I live in the U.S., and 30 years ago hubby and I bought dog-safe chocolate treats for our dogs. I don’t remember the brand name. Just a quick glance online revealed at least 4 brands now.
