    This is backwards. I’ve always loved naming my food, then eating it! The sense of sacrifice makes everything taste so much better.

    Offering him a peanut butter sandwich probably won’t help much. Once he names it and talks to it, it won’t be any different from the situation with the pizza — unless of course he only has this issue with “guest” food, as opposed to the PB sandwich Mom makes from the ingredients that are already in the house.
