Playing Devil’s advocate here. I have a good friend who works the parts desk in a dealership who is just like this. He keeps everyone laughing, he’s disarmed disputes in his workplace, and the customers absolutely love him (suppliers, too.) Having someone like this around sometimes brings intangibles beyond mere productivity.
