An atomic sundial would do it automatically.

A lot of people want to get rid of daylight saving time, but I say it’s just too long. Starts too early, ends too late, just give us six months of each.

Move what? There’s no reason to move the gnomon, and the markers are unlabelled. Just start from the next rock.

I only see eight rocks. I guess the days really are shorter in Winter.

For most folks changing a clock is now nothing more than a twice a year habit and they could not give you an actual reason for its being done.

On a related note, I remember when the self-winding watches came out and even the magical Digital readout watches (the ones you couldn’t read in direct sunlight). Quartz crystal was a big deal too. I don’t miss winding my watch every morning, but I get the feeling that charging the battery is about the same.

If more people watched the way a sundial behaves throughout a year, they would better understand that the time change accomplishes nothing. In my opinion, the benefits are all in your/their head. The downsides are real, but minor & temporary.

Does anybody really know what time it is (I don’t)

Does anybody really care (care about time)

If so I can’t imagine why (no, no)

We’ve all got time enough to cry

I will be honest with you, I still have not reset my watch. I lost the instructions and haven’t bothered to try and find them online yet.

I am thinking of getting a new watch, maybe I will just get one for DST and one for Standard.

I hate to tell you but the way you have it facing is Pacific time. You’re going to have to move it again.
