I was hoping I misread yesterday’s comic. It’s the dream (but also my nightmare) for the pup to go quietly in sleep. So sorry.

I am so sorry to hear of you family’s loss… too soon…

Thinking back to yesterday’s strip: There are few sounds quite so comforting to me as the soft snoring of a dog.

When our Mini-Schnauzer was passing, I spent the night on the couch with her so she wouldn’t feel alone.

I’m so very sorry. It never gets any easier. I lost my Dilly on New Year’s Day. She was one humdinger of a cat, a real dilly. She passed in her sleep too. A blessing, I know, but it’s hard to remember that at first.

Poor Frank. Maggie died at the beginning of 2021, and now Buster at the end. What a rotten Christmas.

I am sorry too, My loving wife and I lost 2 dogs and a cat in 2020, my loving wife died in 2021 and I lost our last dog in 2021 also. Many other deaths in 2021 also. The silence is terrible, no snoring, no nails on the tile, no barking and same for the dogs also. Sorry trying to put a little humor. I really do miss my loving wife and the dogs and cats.
