Abby’s right on 2 things. Stay away from politics and religion. Those topics can start a sh*t storm.

All wives start out with “I don’t want you to change”. It is a lie! After a while, it’s “why do you have to be that way?”, “why do you say such things?”, “why do you think that way?”. You point out to them that you have ALWAYS been that way, and they say “but can’t you do something different?”, and when you point out that THEY were the ones who said they didn’t want you to change, they come back with “but I didn’t know you’d be this way forever….”
