Me: Guinea pigs should almost always be in pairs or herds, not by themself! (occasionally aggressive males may be better off alone) They should be in an open cage, not in a tank style enclosure!!!Me to me: it’s a comic, calm down, look at the cute guinea pig.

I tried to get my niece to name her pet Gwen E. Pig. She wasn’t interested.

I was visiting my brother once, and had the job of holding my niece’s guinea pig while she cleaned his cage. To keep him occupied, I was holding a carrot he was nibbling. He went the length of the carrot and bit my finger. I checked in her “care of guinea pigs” book to see if I should take any special cleaner. I stood smearing blood across the page that stated, with great authority, that “Guinea pigs do not bite people”.
