I don’t get the comic, but is it really necessary to include directions to peel the bananas? Even the primates in The Jungle Book knew to peel them first.
Bad dad joke. One similar that my dad used all the time was when the instructions said to take to eggs and add it to some ingredient and beat it for 5 minutes… he would leave for 5 minutes. Haha.
I read a book set in England in 1500s, at a dinner party among rich & powerful a new exotic fruit is served; narrator doesn’t like it very much, but then sees that some of the other guests are peeling off the outside and only eating the inside. and he finds that much nicer!
