According to some, it’s all the same, flowing and treated or bottled, with the exception of the flavored brands.

Amen to that , The worlds water , all of it is in serious trouble , I have seen documentaries that show some countries have so many impurities in it that all of the people who need to drink it have little or no chance of a healthy life . Or a long life either .

The tragedy is to see people in developed nations drink bottled water in their homes, when millions are spent to make tap water potable!

It seems to me that people most likely to shop for free range chicken, beef, & pork are also most likely to exclusively choose the highest priced bottled water.

The thing is, he filled up those bottles right there about an hour ago. All he is selling is mobile water. Just buy a bottle of your own and keep refilling it. Inexpensive refreshment on the go, or like I used to call it, a canteen. (or a flask if you’re all grown up)

When my wife was in school they tested all the different bottled waters available and the city water. The city water was the cleanest. When I hike or camp, I use the Life Straw flex.

Water taste varies across the country and world for that matter. Well water growing up in Pennsylvania tasted great. Michigan was horrible and had to be filtered. Florida water taste is disgusting. Public or city water varies but almost always has a chemical smell and taste. Our home has a chlorine filter reverse osmosis. Tastes great. Traveling we use bottled (by the gallon) or Brita filter. Some places have refill stations for gallon jugs that are reasonably priced.

This is why the ancients invented alcohol. five thousand years or so ago. Those old timers in what is today Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Egypt, didn’t fully understand sanitation and germ. But they could see cause & effect very well. Drink the mildly alcoholic beer or wine, instead of the water. And you don’t get sick as often. The far East did the same thing by boiling water and making tea and other stuff.

Free Range.. with discretion is better for you.. enhancing your immune system. We.. are so pampered that we now succumb to even the mildest bacteria/viri. Even the COVID experience bears this out, undeveloped nations are having, on a per capita basis.. far fewer deaths than the developed ones in spite of having vaccines, masks and hospital care.

Outside contaminants are common, but many forget that leaching in systems built with iron or lead conduits also brought problems. Several years ago an entire city system was diagnosed with a very high lead content. Of course, city fathers pleaded concern but dragged their feet on upgrading. Typical of other places as well.
