I’m going to have to agree with Moondog this time Monty, I don’t think men that are in excellent shape look good in crop tops much less a man in your shape! For God’s sake put that bellybutton away!
I was on my way to the boot store for some warmer boots in Idaho one morning at 5 degrees above zero (F), when I passed some high school kids playing volleyball in shorts and t-shirts! I asked where they were from, and they said North Dakota. They said it was like a summer day to them!
It got up to 35 F this week in northern Maine. I have a nice little nook between my house and attached garage where I sat and soaked up some rays. Due to the radiant heat from the sun, I enjoyed it.
After attending college for six months in the mountains above Colorado Springs, I had extra red blood cells in my system. On moving to Santa Barbara, I was able to run long distances at sea level, for a while. It doesn’t last long.
My FIL told me that when he first moved out to the West Coast (from Alberta), he felt just like Monty. Tore off his parka and walked around in shirtsleeves in the middle of winter. He got some very odd looks until he explained himself. :)

This past week in Miami would have been perfect for the old boy. 20 degrees and a chance of falling Iguana’s.

I vote Moondog! Monty is in for a rude surprise when the frostbite sets in on many body parts….
