This is a fascinating dip into the old Li’l Abner. I’m pleased to not be seeing the same ole, same ole. Is this supposed to be the dark side of that preacher man we had a few weeks back? The story line seems to be taking a lot of sharp turns!
Al Capp has some surprising turns in the early Li’l Abner. Here, he is mocking the atomic program…and I wonder, did Model T. Fords steer in reverse? He’s turning the steering wheel to the left, while the wheels go to the right.
