I have to say I am deeply impressed with whatever towel or cloth John is using to clean. I don’t see a mess on him or on April.

As for what Greg is going to say? Aside from the cartoon obscenities, I expect he would be saying something like, “It’s about time to bring me back. It’s been 4 years since I was last in a comic strip and 5 years since I got to say something in a comic strip. Who cares what I think?”

Gregory is saying a lot of things, but not something positive.

Elly’s right. Stuff like this needs to be discussed before just doing it.

Connie has always been impulsive, and Greg should be aware of that.

And Elly should still mind her own business!!

Why is the dog still in a cage?

Oh, Elly. Who cares? It will be Connie who will take care of the dog. Greg won’t have any worry about the dog. The way you carry about leads me to wonder if you’re jealous that Connie has a dog instead of a baby? That you’re still stuck with 3 kids in the house? And hoping that Greg will blow a gasket and demand Connie to rehome the dog?

That’s what I would say if I saw the puppy in a cage. Let the damn thing out.

Never mind what Greg says, I’d say he needs glasses.

You mean to tell me that Connie didn’t call Greg, send him pictures, or plaster photos all over social media?

I don’t know Ellie….it looks like you and John had a third child without planning or decision making or talking it over with your family…….

Or, maybe he will say, so I guess YOU volunteered to feed, clean, and take the puppy to the vet as needed. In other words, take care of the puppy and not just play with it.

Never leave a puppy’s cage in the entrance way, the puppy could get hurt.

Why,is Elly so worked up? It isn’t as if Connie went and adopted a baby or got pregnant without telling her husband. A dog can be returned if it is such an issue. Is she jealous that Connie has something that will be housebroken long before April is?

My aging brain had trouble figuring out what was going on. I had forgotten much of the recent arc so I was completely baffled by Greg and a puppy in a cage. It felt like this strip belonged in a completely different timeline.

Not bad.But it doesn’t top the Doris Day movie where James Garner drove the car into a backyard swimming pool that wasn’t there when he left in the morning.

I don’t think he wants to know what Greg is thinking. And yes, its very easy to trip over things that wern’t there yesterday.

Looks to me like Greg tripped on the rug first, and then fell over the crate. Let’s see, what did my mom keep telling me? Oh, yeah, two things, over and over: “Watch where you’re going!” and “Pick up your feet!”.

Well, is Greg this distracted? That cage is big. I can’t believe he tripped over it.
