One time, and one time only, when I was around 20, I made a similar comment about a meal my grandma had cooked. She knew I was teasing because we had been joking together moments before however I still ended up with a wet dish cloth wrapped around my face, thrown from across the kitchen, less than 1 second later.

When I was in high school, I wanted to cook dinner for my then-boyfriend. I made lasagna, from scratch, but I didn’t know to undercook the noodles just a little, so it turned out kinda soupy. It tasted great, but didn’t have the beautiful layered look. My boyfriend said it was lasagna slop. Not soup, slop! :(
