I once saw Slim Whitman perform in Spokane, WA and even have some of his recordings on 78 RPM records.One of my all time favorites is called “Song of the wild”, which I’ve never heard released on a 33 RPM album.But I believe it was later on. He did a very fine show and signed autographs afterward.

What a lot of people don’t know about Slim Whitman is that he once had a short time career as a major league baseball player as well.
