I think the message here is that the King has no supporters, nobody likes him.

What, no paid supporters? He really is cheap.

I’m guessing that judging by the litter left, the entire crowd has been arrested on mass……

Rodney might just as well have gone around and put locks on every door in town and posted a requirement for bail on each one. House arrest is a thing. Preemptive Crown Crowd Control, we’ll call it.

Reminds me of TFG. Nothing upsets him like not having an audience. Which is why he always claims to have a bigger audience than anyone else, regardless of the actual numbers.
