Badgers are a very unique and interesting critter, but neither ‘cute’, nor ‘cuddly’ would be adjectives that I would apply….lol. They seem quite willing to mind their business, and let you mind your own- but they react very poorly to being pestered be either dogs or people. Just sayin’….
Okay, honestly, pet dachshunds have never seen or heard of badgers unless they were on a nature show. That said, as long as it isn’t a honey badger it could possibly be a cute pet. Heck, anything is better than a raccoon! Don’t get me started.

I think it’s time Norman and Echo have a heart to heart talk, about the facts of life… starting with the feud between dachshunds and badgers.

Yes, she’s weird. And that’s kind of why we call her Echo.

I once did one of my radio essays on someone else who had a thing about badgers:

I wonder how Echo feels being badgered all the time…

Kiss this relationship goodbye…or Wally starts to like badgers.

Echo is a strange name.

Hah! Given half a chance, a badger will rip your arm off and go and hide it somewhere – Wally

Wolverines are much tougher, meaner, and nastier. Avoid piquing them.

I guess Echo never learned what dachshunds were bred for.

Of course she’s weird. Why else would she date Norman.

I have to agree with Wally here, anybody that has a badger for a pet isn’t all there.

A badger will eat your arm off!

Is that going to affect their relationship?
