For some reason, I think of someone dancing to the tune of “Twist and Shout” and “Tomorrow Never Knows.”

I’m somewhat confused. It that supposed to be a kid (short, relative to the system size) playing with a grownup’s stereo? Is it a grownup with a large, sophisticated stereo system – if so, such a person is highly unlikely to leave a CD case on the floor.

Otherwise I resemble the image. A few of my old recordings will get me going. And have since I was a kid messing with parent’s stereo system – but not when they were home, of course.

This must be a clever way of reminding the youngsters what real bass is all about.

It’s starts with the tapping of the toe with the music beat, then a kind of side to side movement while you are still sitting and if that great beat goes on you gotta just stand up and DANCE!

At first I was confused by those bowl-shaped objects in the upper right corner of the last panel. Then I saw his head at the lower left and realized the truth. He lives in South Park, and the music has turned him Canadian.

Ah, the old days with huge stereo components and huge bass speakers.
