Baby Blues by Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott for November 30, 1996
Transcript:
Are you sure you have to leave already? Yes... We promised Aunt Min a visit, and it's a two hour drive. She broke her hip, you know, and hasn't been getting around very well. Now, if she listened to her doctor she would be much better off, but you know Aunt Min. Of course, the doctors all look like kids today, so who can blame her? I remember when I had my hysterectomy... Come on, mother! It's late! Daddy's right. We'd better get going if we plan on getting out of there before dark. You know how Aunt Min is... Talk, talk, talk...

Relatives (and some friends) can be like that. They say “Well, we ought to be going,” then they stand at the door continuing to talk until you forget if they’re going or just arrived.
