My neighborhood was built on an old farm that had, it turned out, an artesian well that wasn’t on the county documents. One guy decided to add on to his house and suddenly found himself not only with tens of thousands of gallons of water gushing out every single day but the water district tried to bill him for it! He had to threaten to sue them for damaging his property with their water. They finally managed to get it capped off but it took something like a year to get under control.

Is there a new colourist? I can’t remember having seen hard shadows in this strip before and the dirt seems to be made by “spray paint”.
