Maybe I am a robot and don’t know it. Some of the captchas seem pretty hesitant to let me through.

The irony, of course being that it’s essentially a robot giving you the test.

I often find it difficult to see the pictures clearly enough to know whether the target item is in them

I try, with some success, to not be offended when a remote robot requires me to prove I am not a robot. I do feel insulted when it refuses to accept my response. I know I am not a robot, the actual robot thinks I am not human – what am I?

That should be a challenge to the artificial intelligence community: come up with some software that can answer that question. How hard could it be?

Or if one is sight-impaired?

Well, it starts with your app that converts text to “speech”… to which you can reply, “No, I am not a rowboat.”

I remember at the beginning of the vaccine rollout the sign up software had a glitch or, apparently I and a large number of other robots were trying to get a vaccine designed for humans.
