There once was a prominent lecturer who said“Before I was married I titled my lectures ’ Ten sure-fire methods for raising well-adjusted children.’ Then I got married and retitled my lecture ‘Ten ideas to help raise a family.’ Then we had our first child and I retitled my lecture ‘Ten suggestions that may help you with your children.’ When we had a second child I retitled the lecture ‘Five ideas that may possibly make family life easier.’ Then we had a third child and I got out of the lecture business altogether.”
