Today’s Wizard of Id is rather like a Calvin and Hobbes strip.

I’ve been meaning to ask. What’s with the mini-robe the Wiz is always wearing. His legs aren’t all that good looking. Infact, for a man, his gams are surprisingly gamless.

I prefer to shop alone. I would feel very guilty having someone just miserably sit and wait for me. It would ruin my shopping and I would probably just agree to leave, not that I have gone for the last two years anyway.

this comic reminds me of running gag in old webcomic called betty and the beast, part of edthecomicguy.com, a discontinued comic, sad to say but very funny. gag is about men whose wives and girlfriends get their men to hold their purses at the mall while the women shop. lot of comic is funny, in my opinion, mostly in geeky way. ed is part time inventor whose inventions usually fail in apocalyptic ways. he has 2 room mates, a fairy warrior princess who is femminist and fitness nut, and a living stuffed raccoon who used to be rich businessman who cast a spell for immortality and turned into stuffed animal. side comic is about ed’s sister betty, a model, and her room mate, called betty and the beast. comic worth reading for whole series. wish i knew why guy quit making it
