Going to the fabric store is always torture for a male. I liked going to my Mom’s favorite when I was a young child, because it had a marble track that I was allowed to play with while she was shopping. Too bad that store had closed by the time I was dragging my sons into the stores with me.
Supposedly if Earl as Nelson’s grandpa goes to the fabric store to get the thread for Opal as Nelson’s grandma, Earl will dare to pick the wrong one for Opal. Opal will be pissed off for wrong thread Earl picks at the fabric store. LOLs!
I for myself as male person love shopping at the fabric stores because I love sewing and others, too. :-)
what a toxic thing to ask a poor kid! And Opal is self centered, she apparently only knows about things she enjoys & has completely forgotten what it’s like to be a kid (too many adults do)
