I got a little sad when I wen to the theater the other night The film was great, but my ticket, a small drink and a small popcorn came to almost $27! And I was alone!
I know that concessions are how the theaters make their money, but the soda and popcorn came to more than the ticket!
I’m old enough to remember when tickets were a quarter and for that you got a newsreel, coming attractions, a cartoon (maybe 2), sometimes a short film and then the feature. And they didn’t chase you out when it was done.
