Stopped being offended 3 years ago when I quit watching and haven’t felt offended since. But recent world events are offensive to everyone. They should be observed if only as a reminder that the desire for power that includes subjugating and murdering innocents has deep roots in some countries, and must inevitably lead to conflict.
Satan is still prince of this world. Or from another viewpoint, we are here because our ancestors were tougher than the rest. Animal instincts still lurk beneath a veneer of civilization.

Stopped watching the news in Chicago a couple of years ago, too depressing…! Then move out of Illinois, too taxing…!

I haven’t watched the news since the mid 70s, when I figured out it all depressing crap. Nothing good or positive about it.
