No kisses in the morning…..

My dog hits your face when he wants you to get up!

Sweet , lovable Buckles as usual , my favorite today is his expression in the panel : )

I am so grateful for a dog who is somewhere under the covers dead asleep until I wake her up. Sometimes it takes multiple tries – she is an excellent sleeper, and I like to wake up naturally. No kisses on the face – I know where that mouth of hers has been! This morning she slipped her collar during our walk to get to a wild bird egg that was broken open a few days ago. She ate it, and then returned to get her collar and leash back on. She is just faster than I am.

I wouldn’t want to have a dog lick my face in the morning either.

“We shall never speak of this…”

“Wiskers”?

Paul got the worst of that trade.

I must admit, that would get me up sooner.

I used to ask for kitty kisses on my nose until one day she must have just gotten out of the litter pan…….
