Dog foods have killed many dogs. So many of them are made cheaply in other countries. Some died from plastic products in the kibble. This is what led me to finally make the effort to cook batches of food for my dogs. In a pinch, like when I have had surgery, I have bought some kibble, but am very careful about what kind, still mix in human food, and don’t use it often. My dogs have been extremely healthy. Treats should also be healthy. Fresh, cut up carrots make an excellent treat for dogs who can eat them. the carrots also seem to keep the teeth cleaner and the fat down.

Never had a dog that didn’t know how to wrangle food from me occasionally. Normally it’s the sad eyes that get to me.
