Her parents take pretty good care of their kids, so it’s rare she actually needs something… unless it’s a timeout.
It just occurred to me this is the same artwork from a previous strip, just different words. Originally, it was (approximately:
“I’ve outgrown these shoes.”
“What? How could you? We bought them just a couple of weeks ago…. (checking the shoes) There’s still plenty of room.”
“I mean I’ve outgrown them fashion-wise.”
