I was involved in a play at our local community theater. We had to wear clear face shields, even though the audience was far more than six feet away. It really spoiled the “willing suspension of disbelief” required to enjoy a play.
The theater board, like most of our politicians, wanted to be seen doing something, even if it was the wrong thing and totally ineffective and unnecessary.
