I don’t think I have ever had a person on the other end of the line when requesting a wake up call. Usually the phone rings until the receiver is lifted. (Or maybe I have been hanging up on these nice people all this time.)

“Since you’re awake anyway, could you knock on the door of the person across the hall?”

Almost as annoying as Amber Alerts in the middle of the night.

People still get wakeup calls? Why not just set an alarm?

When I worked in a hotel (25 years ago) we had to make those calls in person. Now, they are automated. FYI
