I was thinking about the old claim that to understand all is to forgive all, which leads to the inevitable conclusion that we obviously do not understand all. But what if forgiveness is merely based on partial understanding? What if we would never forgive anything or anyone — not even ourselves — if we really understood all?
While pondering the problem, I turned to my buddies Wiki and Google and came across the following:
A Prince asked the dying Spanish statesman, “Does your Excellency forgive all your enemies?”
“I do not have to forgive all my enemies,” answered the stateman, "I have had them all shot.“ — Robert Greene, book The 48 Laws of Power

Owen is the Rodney Dangerfield of ghosts, without the humor. Gary is just the Gary of vampires.

Any blithe spirit who can give the unhallowed dead a laugh can’t be all bad!

I’ve said this before. Owen needs the ghosts in “Ghosts” whether they be UK or USA.
