There has to be a reason Dana is dragging this story arc so long.

Some people think it’s a tie-in to the upcoming Nickelodeon series, but I think it has more to do with the strip’s upcoming tenth anniversary next month.

There’s nothing that says you have to do the dance WELL.

I thought it was pointless without the horn. Eh? EHHH?

Technically the last spot was where they oversaw the sun and lake. And then Marigold went back to doing whatever.

Did Phoebe tell LSH that Marigold was playing Planet Oat? Maybe there’s a vital clue in the piece?

Well, Lord Splendid Humility, are you going to magically provide Phoebe said tail, or are you too humble to do so?

(Looks like in the final panel if you look close enough, Dakota has a missing tooth in that cheesy grin of hers.)

Could you do it again so we may see?

Look at Dakota in the last panel. They planned this to see Phoebe dance.

Agree with Dakota. But Phoebe needs to have a tail now.

I’m still waiting for Phoebe to try luring Marigold back with apples.

What if Marigold is hovering high above Phoebe pretending to be a planet? Remember, they were playing “Search for Planet Oat”.

Maybe what’s needed is a dramatic reading of Oats, Oats, How Tasty Thou Art.

About Dakota’s missing tooth…. We haven’t seen that so far because we’ve never seen Dakota grin like that!

Human clothing wasn’t made for tails.

Dakota will sneak a video of Phoebe dancing and then post it with TikTok to the tune of “Shake Your Booty.”

I suppose LSH is too humble to do the dance himself?

I love that Dakota is looking up into the sky as if expecting to see Marigold hovering high up.

Hey! Dakota’s got the elementary-school tooth gap, just like Phoebe’s.

Is that the way Dana draws smiles, or do all 9-year olds have that gap in their side teeth?
