I occasionally pair movies with beers. Anything dark and hoppy from Allagash would be an excellent choice for a horror film.

If he stays a couch potato, he ought to be drinking stout.

Allagash dark ale exists, and I’m going down to Total Wine to look for some. Sounds good, and if Moondog doesn’t know good beer from cat pee, no one does.

If an “Allagash hoppy dark ale” is bad enough to warrant a horror movie, why is he drinking it?

Waiting for a comment on Moondog’s raised “pinky”. You know, to go along with the term “pairs with”. Sorta highbrow?

I’ve had lots of beers that pair music via a QR code on the label (Belching Beaver’s partnership with Deftones, for example), but never a movie… hmm…(What? You thought Moondog was fictional? Nope, right here baby.)

Pilsner would rather see the following: “The Birds”, "Chicken Run’, and “Free Birds”.

Is Moonie one of those guys with more money than sense who has to try every expensive designer-beer in the liquor store? Stick to your favorites, friend, and save $$….
