There are few comics that think every day is National Scribble Day.

What does Winslow have planned for the 13th of April, National Scrabble Day??

…or National Scrapple Day, November 9th?

And here I thought it was a flashback to my youth.

Who comes up with these stupid “official days”? And who cares about them?

By happenstance, I was just reading about Norton Juster (who wrote THE DOT AND THE LINE) this past week. Anyone who read that book of his (as opposed to, say, The Phantom Tollbooth) knows the fate of the squiggle.
