As if “the throne” is where a plugger does most of his weekly reading.;-D

Eh, but what’s the point of sitting on the cover?

Ditch the lid cover . Put a small end table beside the thrown so you don’t have to reach behind for reading material .

Don’t stay in the bathroom long enough to read. I just get the job done and move on.

The reading library is on top of the wholesale club pack of toilet paper.

Don’t see anything that looks like a Playboy or Hustler magazine.

I have a magazine rack in there. It’s the only place I keep my Playboy magazines. I, uhh, keep them for the articles.

Some of us Pluggers are more technically inclined. Our “extensive bathroom library” consists of the numerous news apps on our iPhones. (How did we ever survive back in the Dark Ages when all we had to read was the back of shampoo bottles???)

This is so me! I’ve a shelving unit above the toilet with two shelves of books and one on the wall over the toilet paper across from the toilet (It’s a wooden decorative paper towel holder with a little paperback sized shelf above where the paper towel would go and it holds at least 2 rolls of toilet paper at a time.) And a small wire basket shelving unit with 3 baskets under the TP holder that holds up to 18 rolls of TP at one time (no fear of getting caught without TP at a bad time.) So I’ve 20 TP rolls close to hand even when sitting and plenty of books and magazines to distract me while nature takes its course.

It’s not a bloody bathroom library. It’s a toilet library. Why (genuine question) do Americans insist on calling it going to the bathroom or rest room when neither of those activities will take place and sometimes it’s not even in the real bathroom? Apart from misplaced politeness.
