Although you can’t see the millipede’s legs on the other side from the angle it’s drawn, this is a very nice job showing the difference between a millipede and a centipede. Centipedes have only one pair of legs per segment, whereas millipedes have two pairs of legs per segment. (Also, centipede legs are longer and millipede legs are shorter, relatively speaking.)

I’m reminded of the monopods: a weak-minded but agreeable people group in the Narnia series (Voyage of the Dawn Treader). They bounce.
