We had major medical insurance but it didn’t cover “small” things like office visits. Those were the days. A routine office visit today here is $475 for a general practitioner, more for a specialist. Hence the need for insurance.
And speaking of meds, I just dialed CVS to correct a prescription problem. 5 min later that smarmy auto message was still bleating about all the choices and services and then the pharmacist answered and put me on hold another 3 min. Last week same thing on my doc’s service. Warning after warning, redirection, transfers, blather. I’m feeling fatigued and it has nothing to do with my health, just wearing out my patience.
