Sounds more like his family than his workplace.

We had a lady boss who always dressed ‘to the hilt’. She was very nice but a horrible time manager. At least once a week she’d be running in her high heels to a meeting she was late for. We never failed to get a kick out of it.

The reason for most meeting is that it has been a month since the last one.

You can keep your jelly donuts. Leave the custard-filled for me.

Our staff meetings were never quite so interesting.

I would rather go to a meeting than to a “Team Building Exercise.” Funny how the senior executives’ Team Building Exercises always involved a fancy resort and Golf.

But in the end who give the mouth to mouth to Warren? It was Rita? He’s OK now?

The truth about executive decisions. The new org chart showed that from now on the CEO has first dibs on jelly donuts.

At various universities and colleges around the country, in the 1970s there was much agitation on the part of students about being able to have “observers” at faculty meetings. There actually weren’t many, as at most universities, faculty aren’t consulted by the administration, much. But what the luckyduckies who actually got into faculty meetings found was that most of the time discussions were about what color to paint the faculty lounge, or attempts to draw up workable rules about how to use the microwave without causing a mess.
